Initially graduating as an interpreter (RU-EN to FR), I briefly worked in this capacity before
transitioning to a diverse and multifaceted career. From 1993-1998, I contributed to Belgium's Dour
Music Festival, securing sponsorships from brands like Perrier, PlayStation, Axe, and Casio G-Shock.
This led to my role as General Manager at Virus Energy Drinks.
In the late '90s, I worked in event communications at VO Communication in Brussels. My
responsibilities included crafting RFP presentations and organizing both B2B and B2C events. The dawn
of the 2000s had me introducing SMSMAG, Europe's first mobile entertainment magazine. Distributed
across BE, FR, & UK, it generated over 4M+ mobile downloads.
This endeavor spurred a B2B service targeting misspelled logos and ringtones requests in real-time,
garnering attention from major EU mobile entertainment providers. Evolving from this, the first
"mobile contact center" was created, leading to the inception of Smscash in 2005 — a venture
that registered €15M in loans within months before being acquired by Laser Cofinoga.
I transitioned into the music industry in the late 2000s, founding 'Les Disques Modernes'. I produced
two Belgian indie acts and released K's Choice's Echo Mountain album in the UK, while contributing to
The Boxer Rebellion's development. I co-founded and managed two live music venues. My creative
pursuits also gave life to 'Le Cirque Moderne' in 2011, with over 150 shows staged in Belgium over two
seasons.
Returning to the tech scene in 2013, I innovated with a mobile web app designed for effortless mobile
web app creation (40K users). In 2015, brought in by Felix Capital, I headed Product for Job Today and
in 2016 I headed Paid Acquisition for Less, acquired by Blablacar.
Joining Moneyfellows in 2015 as the first individual investor, I witnessed its journey leading to a
$31M Series B round in 2022. Since moving to London in 2015, I've been acting as Product, Sales &
Marketing consultant in a wide range of industries. I also started coding with AI assistants in late
2022. I am now considered as one of the most prolific AI-assisted coding advocates. I launched the
AI Coding Club newsletter.
