Free tool

Webflow to
static site.

Find out how easily your Webflow site becomes plain HTML on Netlify: no site plan, no CMS limits, no webflow.js. Then copy a prompt that has your coding agent do the rebuild.

For sites you own or manage. We read public pages only, the way a search engine does, and store nothing.

Why bother

Your Webflow site is mostly static already. Stop paying for it to be.

Fast by default

Plain HTML from a global CDN, without webflow.js and jQuery loading on every page to run the animations.

No plan limits

No CMS item caps, no form submission caps, no plan upgrade when the blog grows. Every collection item is just another file.

Next to nothing to host

Netlify's free tier covers most small business sites, forms included. No more Webflow site plan.

The diagnosis

What decides whether it goes static.

Ecommerce and user accounts

Webflow Ecommerce, User Accounts and add-ons such as Memberstack need logins and a checkout. These are the real blockers.

Forms

Webflow Forms post to Webflow today. They are rebuilt as Netlify Forms, with no server needed.

Interactions

Scroll reveals and hover animations run from webflow.js. They are rebuilt with CSS transitions and a few lines of JavaScript.

CMS collections

Counted from the sitemap, folder by folder. Webflow's code export leaves CMS pages out; this rebuild generates them from one template per collection.

Localization

Each extra language becomes its own folder of pages, with hreflang tags kept.

Colours and fonts

Read from the Variables in your Webflow stylesheet, so the prompt starts from your real design tokens.

The output

One folder, ready for Netlify.

Your original copy, word for word. Your images, converted to WebP. Your colours and fonts as CSS variables. Your old URLs kept as they are, so search rankings carry over.
